This piece with a beautiful fringe is made in the gorgeous fabric Bejuco from Casamance. “Bejuco” refers to the lianas found in tropical regions who flexible stems are used for wickerwork and other crafts. They are embroidered on a line/cotton base using two different coloured yarn in different materials: one viscose and the other polyester. They embellish the natural fabric with their matte and shine.
